Medium description: | 4th Dunford seminar Focusing on evaluation and testing with case studies on: "the construction of a course unit to introduce primary school teachers to basic testing procedures, the design of the evaluation component of a new primary school syllabus, an assessment of the evaluation and implementation strategies of a university language centre, an evaluation for council DTE operation, the evaluation of a secondary level materials production project, and the working out of a blueprint for setting up a Business English examination" (Beaumont, 1997, p.15). Included a report on BC's initial development of ELTS and contributions from non-ELT researchers namely Brian Page from Leeds University and Mats Oskarsson from Gothenburg University. Also included discussion of the use of video both as a classroom tool and as a teacher training tool in the recording of micro-teaching sessions. | ||
